1000 Things
I had an idea that if we (our bodies and our minds) were made up of a thousand things that we either, eat or take on or express, then if we embrace mostly good things then we will be mostly healthy, but if we embrace mostly bad things then we will be mostly unhealthy.
The balance point between how much good and how much bad we need to embrace to be healthy will be different for each of us.
This balance point will depend on such factors as,
- our current health status,
- past and current diet,
- our age and how long we have embraced each of the good and bad,
- Khama, or current lifetime fates or fortunes,
- genetic predisposition, etc.
Clearly some “things” will be far more significant than others. Starting by changing the easy ones first is often the best way to begin a transformation process. It is also amazing how much encouragement you can get out of being successful at even the smallest change.
Making sudden and dramatic changes to our lives is not generally workable. We are creatures of habit and strongly resist letting go of the familiar, even it is literally killing us.
Changing things slowly is easy and workable. I have created a limited list of GOOD THINGS and BAD THINGS that might help you to change what you eat and how you choose to live – One Thing At A Time.
